Battleground: Chicagoland
Starting as a monthly series to pair with UGS Weekly, Battleground: Chicagoland was a bi-monthly event series focusing on Super Smash Bros. for Wii U that took place in the same venue, but in a different, much larger space. With a clear bump in production quality, this series was the start of UGS Gaming truly forming its identity as a top-quality broadcasting group. The series ended after Battleground: Chicagoland 3 on November 11, 2017.

Monday Night Melee
A couple months before the end of the UGS Weekly series, the team began running Super Smash Bros. Melee out of the same venue but with a different name, Monday Night Melee. Later entries in the event series added a second title, Project M, to the game lineup. This weekly series continued well past the end of UGS Weekly with the 26th and final entry happening on February 19, 2018.

CAC Smash
UGS started hosting events back in June of 2016 with CAC Smash, A Super Smash Bros. for Wii U event hosted in the same venue we now use for Tripoint Smash. With the first iteration running off of a single setup, it’s a miracle the bracket finished! UGS continued the monthly series with 4 more iterations, and CAC Smash 5 took place on October 28th, 2016.
